GWINNETT COUNTY COMPOSITE SQUADRON 09112

We are located at Gwinnett County Airport (LZU) in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Our meeting place is in the Wilbur H. Hargrove Hangar facility (which we built and own!) located at the end of Briscoe Boulevard at Gwinnett County Airport (Briscoe Field). Text directions are listed below for two of the most common ways to get to us. A map of the airport is below the text directions.

Coming from I-85 Northbound:

Take exit 106 onto Easbound GA-316. Skip down to the section on Eastbound GA-316 below.

Coming from I-85 Southbound:

Take exit 107, Boggs Rd. At end of ramp, turn left and proceed over I-85. In 1/4th mile, you will pass over GA-316. Turn left onto entrance ramp onto GA-316. Skip down to the section on Eastbound GA-316 below.

Westbound GA-316 coming from Athens:

After passing US-29 stoplight, continue on GA-316 approximately 2.0 miles. As you drive on left you will see the Gwinnett County Airport entrance at High Hope Road. PROCEED PAST this entrance to the next stoplight where you will turn left at High Hope Road. Follow High Hope Road as it swings to the right and proceed to the next stoplight at Hosea Road. Turn left on Hosea and go about half mile to the first available left turn. This will be Briscoe Blvd. Follow Briscoe Blvd. to the end about a mile and the last building you will see is our big silver hangar! Go in the red door without knocking.

Eastbound GA-316:

From I-85 (Exit 106), proceed several miles on GA-316.
You will eventually come to two car dealerships which face each other across GA-316. After the dealerships, proceed to the second stoplight and turn right on GA-20. Proceed about half mile and turn left on Hurricane Shoals Road. The first stoplight on Hurricane Shoals will be at Hosea Road. Turn right on Hosea and go about half mile to the first available left turn. This will be Briscoe Blvd. Follow Briscoe Blvd. to the end about a mile and the last building you will see is our big silver hangar! Go in the red door without knocking.
