New Members Packet

Welcome to Augusta Composite Squadron - the purpose of this page is to give the cadet requirements for joining the CAP.

Cadets will first fill out this form: http://level2.cap.gov/documents/u_103003082103.dot
When cadets have this form completed, they need to bring it to a meeting and have the Commander or the Deputy Commander for Cadets sign it and mail it with a check for $30 to National Headquarters whose address is on the form at the bottom of the page.
Cadets will then receive in the mail a Membership Card with their CAP Number. The Cadet must bring the card with them in order to participate in all activities.
The Cadet will receive an Air Force Blue Shirt, Blue pants, belt, buckle, and enlist cap. They will have to purchase a pair of black tie, military style shoes, black socks and a V type white tee shirt.
The Cadet will also receive a “New Member Kit”:

Upon joining CAP, new cadets will receive a New Member Kit containing important resources they will need to get started in the Cadet Program. The contents include:
-- Aerospace Dimensions (6 modules)
-- Leadership for the 21st Century (Volume 1)
-- Mini-posters demonstrating how to wear the uniform
-- The Next Step CD-ROM
 

Uniform Requirements:

Complete Basic Woodland Camo BDU Uniform - Cadet

Each cadet must have at least one of the uniforms that can be purchased locally at Total Force or most any Army Navy Store. They will need a shirt, pants, belt, black T Shirt, cap and Boots. They can also be purchased from Vanguard
