Barrow County Composite Squadron

Join Us

Interested in joining the Civil Air Patrol? While we welcome pilots, you do not have to be a pilot to join. Civil Air Patrol (CAP) offers many avenues of volunteer service, including Emergency Services, and Aerospace Education.

We also need volunteers for community outreach, professional development and Squadron operational responsibilities.

You must be at least 18 to join CAP as an adult (senior) member and to be a cadet you must be at least 12. For the protection of our cadets, prospective members must undergo a background check. A CAP Prospective Member Information Package is available for Senior (adult) members to download in low or high resolution (PDF files). We also recommend you download CAP's Senior Member Fast Start Pamphlet (CAP P7).

We invite you to visit the Squadron during our regular meetings. Barrow County Composite Squadron meets every Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM, 105 E. Athens Street (the old Duckhead Building). For directions go to www.mapquest.com and enter your address as the starting address and 105 E. Athens Street as the final destination.
